Melissa is an RMT and the owner of Lakeview Mobile Massage. She graduated with honours and was named valedictorian in 2009 from CCMH Foothills College of Massage Therapy. Her 2,200-hr program focused on anatomy and physiology, pathology, and advanced massage treatments. In 2011, Melissa published an award winning case study in the IJTMB on massage therapy and Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) dysfunction. Melissa also has experience as a case study panel member for massage colleges.

Melissa’s interests and continuing education include prenatal massage, pediatric massage, aromatherapy, spa treatments, TMJ intra-oral technique, soft tissue release, trigger point therapy, myofascial cupping, pain management, and oncology massage. Her massage style is a harmonious blend of relaxation and therapeutic techniques. Each session is personalized to meet the unique needs of her clients, promoting deep relaxation while also alleviating tension and promoting overall wellness.
In addition to her clinical practice, Melissa and her husband are the founders of The Online Wellness Institute, a library of continuing education courses for RMTs.
